Translating objectives to software solutions is an art form.
Artstart is the new cross media art platform for high quality and affordable Dutch art. A place where artists exhibit their work and where art lovers can buy as well as learn. Art was never this accessible.
What was the challenge?
Art has to be seen. Not only should you be able to view it, but also experience it. To present art work properly on a monitor, you must go further than only showing an image. Dialogues Technology, for example, created a zoom function for visitors that where interested in studying details. Thus our work also becomes alive online.
What do you think about the collaboration?
Dialogues Technology is a partner who cares about the dialogue and involves the product owner in each step of the way, and in each choice. That results into optimal solutions, such as the content management system that Dialogues Technology created for us. This system fits with the dynamic character of Artstart. Therefore we can adjust our collection any moment and show the newest work. Being able to adjust information independently was our primary requirement. The result suffice our organizational objectives: a sophisticated and very user-friendly website, for both visitor and administrator.
